Ever done something and then forgotten about it entirely?
Someone asked me if this Bantam paperback Introduction was written by me. Uh, yes. But I don't remember what I said... I think I called Nero Wolfe a laboratory head in a jar. Funny I never got any hate mail for that. Like, you know, Rex Stout needs an intrduction in the first place. :-)
