I was hoping for Vonnegut, but Chuck is just fine. Click on the link in the badge above and see who you write like. I used a chapter from DEAD RULES for my sample.

very very cool! Just did it - and to my surprise, Jack London.
I had to look up Chuck. But that is great!

This is so cool, Randy! I got Margaret Mitchell, who wrote Gone with the Wind. LOL! I'll now have to go read the book and see if I agree.

We-ell . . . I tried it with one sample and got David Foster Wallace. Then I tried it again with a fragment of a (humorous) short story and got H.P. Lovecraft.

Hmmm. The short story mentioned monsters, I wonder if the word triggered the Lovecraft comparison. I think I'll try another sample.

Thanks for posting this. It's a fun time-waster, if nothing else. ;)

Okay, so I tried another sample and got David Foster Wallace again. Now I'm going to have to read some of his stuff and see if I think it fits. :-/

Loretta, I played with it a bit further and found that I could pretty much get the author I wanted by typing in a few keywords. The connect to an author is based on content, NOT style. Dang.

Amy, GONE WITH THE WIND! Oh, watch the movie instead. :-) But this really makes me wonder what delightful stuff you are writing!!

Terry, Jack London would be proud to know you. He never lived anywhere as cold as where you and your dogs get through winter together.
